Really good farm shop, open all year and PYO fruit in season.
Their apple juice is gorgeous, bottled in individual varieties, and they are all available to taste before you buy. I think my favourite is Crispin, the Cox's Orange Pippin juice has too distinctive and strong a flavour, whilst the Bramley is unsurprisingly rather tart, and Discovery somewhat bland. Pear juice, mulled apple juice and Wobbly juice (i.e alcoholic) are also available. Twelve bottle cases of apple & pear juice (which can be mixed) are currently £21.95
Boxes of eating apples (£6.50 for 12lb) make excellent Christmas presents as the apples are individually wrapped for storage. This farm shop has thought about things.
They have supplemented their produce by keeping a few interesting birds and animals to entertain children and I like the children's opportunity to pick your own eggs (you pay first for obvious reasons!).
There's a full shop as well with a butcher, a freezer full of home made fishcakes and other comestibles, and they stock Elgar wine from the vineyard up the road too.
Verdict: Go for the fruit, but explore the other offerings too.
